2024 Kuru Toga Guide

The main feature of the Kuru Toga is given away by the little logo on the barrel—Kuru Toga Engine. This is the internal mechanism that rotates the pencil’s lead, just a little bit, every time it’s pressed to a writing surface, thereby keeping a uniformly sharp point on the lead. "The Uni Kuru Toga Advance uses the updated W Speed Engine that rotates the lead twice as fast as that of standard Kuru Toga Mechanical Pencils. It also has a sliding lead sleeve. The Advance looks similar to the Pipe Slide, but it has a metal-plated tip nose cone and clip.
